Victor Jaramillo, MD

Victor Jaramillo, MD, joined UnityPoint Clinic Kenyon Road – Neurology through our partnership with CNOS. Known as "Dr. J," he graduated from Antioquia University in Medellín, Colombia, where he also practiced general medicine.

After emigrating to the United States, Dr. Jaramillo pursued his passion for medical education, quality of care, and evidence-based medicine. His training included two years in internal medicine, three years in general neurology, and four fellowships in neuromuscular medicine, neurophysiology, neurocritical care, and vascular neurology-stroke.

Dr. Jaramillo is guided in life and practice by transparency, honesty, dedication, compassion for the ill, humility in the face of the unknown, and respect for colleagues and co-workers.
