Why did you become a physician/provider? I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I wanted to improve the lives of people living with mental health disorders.
What qualities best describe the care you provide to your patients? I listen to the concerns and needs of my patients and get their input when initiating a plan of care. I use evidence-based practices to guide the decisions I make.
Being a mental healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? Making a difference in people’s lives and seeing them overcome obstacles and improve.
What is the most important message you would like to share with your patients? I am here to help patients reach their goals, and I value their input as we develop a treatment plan together.
What would you like your patients to know about you? I am easy to talk to, listen well and I enjoy humor.
Are there any fun facts that you would like the community to know about you? I am afraid of heights but went parasailing and loved it!
