Professional Statement: 

I'm a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of experience in the Human Services field. I specialize in supporting individuals through grief, trauma, abuse, and assault. I spent several years working as a victim advocate, and I am passionate about helping my clients reduce risk through safety planning, as well as help them to work through past incidents of interpersonal violence. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can find strength, healing, and empowerment.

Notable ties to the region:

I was raised in Cedar Rapids, but left after high school and ended up raising my family in southern Indiana. My husband and I recently moved to Cedar Rapids to be closer to my family. 

Tell us about your family:

I have three adult sons, two daughters-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter. My husband and I have 2 dogs, 5 cats, and an axolotl at home.
