Professional Statement
I'm a board-certified acute care and family nurse practitioner with 17 years of experience as an ARNP and 13 years as a registered nurse. I have extensive knowledge in managing acute conditions and chronic disease, along with a special focus on chronic disease management and the care of older adults.
My approach to patient care centers on education and empowerment. I believe patients should have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. I emphasize the importance of healthy lifestyle choices alongside medical treatment to promote overall well-being and help limit the progression and impact of chronic disease.
I'm a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and the Iowa Nurses Association, and I'm dedicated to helping patients live healthy, fulfilling lives to achieve the best possible quality of life.
