Peter Cmorej, MD, believes the best surgical care starts with listening. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals and individual needs, working with patients to make informed decisions about their care.

His approach to surgery emphasizes compassionate, personalized care and shared decision-making. When surgery is needed, Dr. Cmorej uses the least invasive approach that can safely and effectively treat the condition. When appropriate, he uses minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic approaches, to help reduce surgical trauma, postoperative pain and recovery time.

Dr. Cmorej believes surgery is about more than treating a medical condition — it’s about helping patients get back to the people, work, activities and everyday life that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Dr. Cmorej enjoys cooking, hiking, biking and spending time with his family.
