Professional Statement
Why did you become a physician/provider? I love to help people and try to make a positive difference in their lives.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? To be an active listener and be aware of what I don't know so I can find information for patients when they need it.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about? Pediatric care and helping patients adopt healthy lifestyles.
Why did you choose your specialty? I enjoy the variety of patients/conditions that family practice includes.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? Empathic, compassionate and accepting of eveyone.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? At this point in my career, I know most of my patients almost to the point where they are like family or friends. I have come to care about them at a different level than a stranger. This is what I love about family practice; the depth at which you get to know people.
