LaShawna Dean, LMSW, IICDP, CTP is a licensed mental health therapist who provides compassionate, clinically grounded and culturally responsive care for individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered throughout their healing journey.

LaShawna specializes in identity-affirming, trauma-informed and intersectional psychotherapy using an anti-oppressive, strengths-based approach. She incorporates evidence-informed techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), humanistic and existential therapies, to help patients build insight, resilience and meaningful, lasting change.

As an Inclusion Institute Certified Diversity Practitioner (IICDP) and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), LaShawna is passionate about honoring each person's unique experiences while fostering authenticity, personal agency and emotional well-being. She enjoys working with patients across the lifespan and has a special passion for supporting children, adolescents and young adults.
