Professional Statement:

I provide a broad range of general surgical care, with particular interests in colon, thyroid and parathyroid. I believe strongly in shared decision-making and in working alongside my patients throughout their entire disease process. From the uncertainty of a new diagnosis through treatment, recovery, and long-term follow-up. I am grateful for the opportunity to care for patients in the Dubuque community and to build lasting relationships with the people and families I serve.

Why did you become a provider?

Growing up, I saw the impact a physician could have and I have always wanted to serve a community in a similar way. Meeting and taking care of people is incredibly rewarding.

What the most important thing patients should know about your medical philosophy?

I love multidisciplinary care - working alongside other great providers is a large part of what drew me to surgery.
