Kayla McCrill, ARNP

I had always had an interest in science, especially throughout high school years but I never would have imagined that I would end up in the healthcare field. I took an opportunity to work in an assisted living while in college which drove my passion to pursue a profession in healthcare. I received my RN degree and spent many years in the ICU. I enjoyed the complexity of my patients and able to spend more one on one time with each patient. I had always enjoyed learning which led me to go on for my master's degree which I received through Morningside University.  This has given me the opportunity to continue to work with my patients and provide education both in the hospital as well as the outpatient setting. 

I became a provider because it allowed me to be able to provide more comprehensive care to my patients. It has allowed me to gain a relationship with my patients and provide individualized care that fits each patient's needs. It has also allowed me the opportunity to spend more time with my family.
