Julie Kim, MD

Julie Kim, MD, is a skilled general surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive procedures. She also treats reflux, hernias, gallbladder issues, and other digestive conditions, and is experienced in wound care and gastrointestinal endoscopy.

With years of experience and a leadership role in training other surgeons, Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She also enjoys teaching and connecting with the community.

A Chicago native, Dr. Kim was drawn to Fort Dodge to expand access to specialized surgical care in a close-knit community. Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting, hiking, traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
