Medical Philosophy
Dr. Khan believes that an ideal patient – physician relationship is a partnership based on trust and mutual respect. She works hard to get to know her patients and their families as well as their cultures, traditions and life experiences, knowing that all these play major roles in her patients’ health. Dr. Khan strives to educate her patients so that they can understand their medical conditions and make appropriate, healthy lifestyle choices. She is a good listener and her patients appreciate the time that she spends understanding their goals and making individualized care plans best suited to them. 

Medical Interests
Dr. Khan has significant experience with adult patients with multiple chronic conditions, primarily Diabetes, Hypertension and Asthma. She is passionate about Women’s health and preventative care. Dr. Khan enjoys working with elderly patients, women of all ages, and especially loves taking care of families.

Personal Interests
During her free time, Dr. Khan likes to spend time with her husband and her son. She loves traveling, especially to visit her family in Texas. Dr. Khan also enjoys trying different cuisines and watching episodes of the show, NCIS.
