I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare because I love helping people. I started college with plans to become a physical therapist based off a job shadow experience in high school, and my plans were solidified when I sustained an injury playing college soccer. I liked that physical therapists were allowed to spend more time with their patients, get to know them, and problem solve to help them achieve their goals. Today, I continue to be happy with my choice. I love that I chose a profession that encourages me to be a lifelong learner. I enjoy attending continuing education courses every year and bringing back new techniques to help my patients. I have completed training to become a Certified Manual Therapist and Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (dry needling). Since having three kids of my own, I have become passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum moms and am a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I love treating patients of all ages and enjoy seeing people learn about their body and meet their goals.
