Chitralekha Pasupuleti, MD

I'm board-certified in internal medicine and bring extensive clinical and physician leadership experience to my role at UnityPoint Health – Waterloo. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Australia who completed internal medicine residency at Southern Illinois University, I've held several leadership positions, mostly recently as Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of Hospital Medicine with the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health/CommonSpirit Health system. Throughout my career, I've led initiatives to advance clinical quality, improve patient experience, strengthen care coordination, enhance provider engagement and optimize operational performance.

I have a collaborative leadership style, commitment to evidence-based medicine and ability to build and support high-performing teams. I love partnering with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff and the community to deliver exceptional patient care.
