Brittany Smith, AGNP-C

As an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in geriatrics and palliative care, Brittany Smith, AGNP-C, is dedicated to delivering holistic, patient-centered care that honors each person’s dignity, values and goals. She blends evidence-based practice with emotional and spiritual support, creating individualized care plans that help patients navigate serious illness with clarity, comfort and compassion. Transparency, respect and meaningful connection are central to her practice.

Brittany completed her nursing education at Iowa Central Community College, graduate studies through Western Governor’s University, and advanced practice training at Maryville University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and cares for patients at UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Second Avenue North - Palliative Care. A former student-athlete at Iowa Central Community College, she proudly still holds several volleyball records from her time as a Triton. She now resides in Algona with her husband and enjoys being close to family and the community that shaped her passion for geriatrics, palliative care and integrative medicine.
