Professional Statement
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I like to provide continuity of care. I have been a midwife for 14 years and in the Cedar Valley for most of that time. Wherever you are in your journey, I would like to listen to your story and help you be well.
Why did you become a physician/provider?
I learned about the midwife model of care in undergrad and wished to learn and provide that type of care for women.
What is your medical philosophy?
I believe in shared decision making, evidenced-based practice and holistic care.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
It's an amazing privilege to assist a woman to lift her baby up into her arms for the first time. It's hard to think of anything better than those moments.
What personal interests to you have?
Reading, time with family, walking our dog and traveling back to Wisconsin to visit extended friends and family.
