Professional Statement
As a nurse practitioner, I'm committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that respects the unique values, preferences and needs of each individual. I strive to build trusting, therapeutic relationships by actively listening, promoting open communication and involving patients and their families in shared decision-making.
Why did you become a provider?
I became a nurse practitioner after 16 years of nursing because of my desire to improve the quality of life for patients through more direct involvement in their care.
What's the ideal provider/patient relationship?
I believe that relationship is grounded on mutual respect and trust.
Tell us about your family.
My husband, AJ, and I live in Jesup with our two boys, Parker and Jake. Our boys are getting active in sports, so a lot of our time is spent traveling with them to tournaments and practices.
