Adrian G. Letz, MD

Adrian Letz, MD, is a board-certified allergist and immunologist at UnityPoint Clinic Multispecialty – Dubuque. He cares for children and adults with allergies, food allergies, asthma, hives and immunodeficiency disorders. His goal is to help patients live active, healthy lives free of allergy symptoms while minimizing medications through allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots).

Dr. Letz was drawn to allergy and immunology by the detective work it involves and the complexities of the immune system. Dr. Letz enjoys helping patients find relief from allergy and asthma symptoms. He is also dedicated to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of food allergies and helping people with immune deficiencies prevent serious or recurring infections.

Dr. Letz offers a variety of allergy tests and treatments, including:

• Allergy skin testing
• Spirometry (lung function testing)
• Allergy patch testing (contact allergens)
• Allergy shots (allergen immunotherapy)
• Oral food and drug challenges 
• Biologic medications for asthma, chronic hives, eczema, nasal polyps and eosinophilic esophagitis

In his free time, Dr. Letz enjoys playing the French horn and is a member of the Julien Winds, a professional wind band in Dubuque. He is also the parish priest of St. Elias the Prophet Greek Orthodox Church in Dubuque.
